JetBlue and Air Serbia announce new codeshare agreement

JetBlue And AirSerbia announced on Thursday August 3 a new partnership making Air Serbia operated flights available on JetBlue.com with a new codeshare agreement.

Effective July 26, 2023, JetBlue placed its airline code “B6” on nonstop flights operated by Air Serbia from John F. Kennedy International Airport (jfk) in New York and O’Hare International Airport (ORD) in Chicago to the airport Nikola Tesla of Belgrade (BEG ). Additionally, JetBlue plans to place its “B6” code on other flights between Belgrade and points in Europe in the near future. Air Serbia plans to add its airline code “JU” to 25 destinations across the JetBlue network.

“We are always looking to expand our partnerships to offer more options to our customers. Air Serbia has been a successful interline partner since 2016 and we see great potential with this new codeshare.”said Robin Hayes, chief executive of JetBlue.

“We are very excited about the future collaboration with JetBlue and believe it will significantly improve travel opportunities between the United States and Air Serbia’s network destinations, especially those in the wider Balkan region.”said Jiri Marek, CEO of Air Serbia.
