Jet2 announces a major investment in the development of tourism in Morocco

Just after the launch of regular flights and holidays in Morocco for the first time in their history, Jet2.com And Jet2holidays demonstrated their commitment to the country on November 7 by signing a formal agreement to invest in the development of Moroccan tourism for the next five years.

The partnership agreement was officially signed by Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, and Mr. Adel El Fakir, CEO of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (MNTO), At World Travel Market in London, one of the largest tourism fairs in the world. Through this partnership, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will cooperate with the MNTO to help drive tourism growth in the country through marketing campaign large-scale joint venture which will begin next year. “The online and offline campaign will showcase the many things this beautiful country has to offer to holidaymakers and independent travel agents across the UK,” indicates the Jet2.com press release. Last month, the biggest tour operator and third airline company of the United Kingdom announced that it would operate all year round to two destinations in Morocco – Agadir And Marrakesh – with flights and holidays on sale for winter 24/25 and summer 25. The companies will operate up to 17 weekly flights to Morocco from six UK airports, with more than 180,000 seats departing in sale. The companies will operate to Marrakech from four UK airports (Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester And London Stansted) and to Agadir from six British airports (Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds-Bradford, Manchester And London Stansted). Three of the routes (Glasgow to Marrakech, Bristol to Agadir and Leeds Bradford to Agadir) are exclusive to Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
