On this Tuesday, April 11, Japan celebrates the 6 months of its reopening to international tourismsince it was on October 11, 2022 that the land of the rising sun removed all entry restrictions into the country, after more than 30 months of strict closure to international tourism!
Without waiting for this anniversary date, Japan very quickly rose to the top of the 2023 sales of the French specialist in travel to Asia-Pacific, with already nearly 2,000 travelers registered at the end of March for a turnover of nearly €9 million!
The destination, already queen of the podiums at Asia for more than 10 years, has indeed benefited from the very strong impatience of French travelers and from its irreproachable image in terms of health in this context of global reopening of the Asia zone.
Thanks to the anticipation of this reopening and its historical legitimacy on this axis, Asia has fully exploited the key hanami season, corresponding to the cherry blossom season, celebrated from mid-March to mid-April in Tokyo and Kyoto.
Through its tailor-made trips, private tours and its guided programs in small groups, the tour operator sent nearly a thousand French people in the spring of 2023 to (re)discover the many faces of Japan. : contemporary and surprising in Tokyo and Osaka, imperial and traditional in Kyoto, Nara and Kurashiki, historic in Himeji and Hiroshima, zen and serene in Mount Fuji and Mount Koya.
To celebrate the 6 months of this reopening and in the face of still very strong demand, Asia has just opened 6 new dates to visit Japan in a small group and French-speaking guide in the fall of 2023.
This time, it will be an opportunity to enjoy the splendid reddish colors of the maple trees, typical of the kôyô season.
