Japan Airlines (JAL) revealed the cabin interiors of his new Airbus A350-1000which will become the new flagship of the Japanese national airline to serve its international network.

The latest interior is also designed to provide a high-quality experience for customers and reflects the consistency of JAL’s renowned service which is inspired by our domestic fleet (A350-900 and 787-8 aircraft)“.
The launch of JAL’s A350-1000, initially scheduled for late November 2023 on the Tokyo-Haneda <> New York-JFK connectionis expected to begin before the end of the year due to a supply chain disruption affecting the delivery of some components.
JAL’s A350-1000 embarks in total 239 seats spread across four cabin classes : Premieres with six seats, Business with 54 seats, Premuim Economy with 24 seats and Economy with 155 seats. The seats for the first three classes are supplied by the French equipment manufacturer Safran Seats, those in Economy by the German Recago.
First class
The new seating layout includes only six suites to create a unique and exclusive cabin environment. The seats are designed to provide even greater comfort and the addition of individual doors, for the first time by JAL, increases privacy while creating a more open individual atmosphere through the elimination of overhead storage compartments.

Business class
Doors were introduced for the first time in Business Class to ensure passenger privacy. The upper storage compartments are positioned exclusively on the window side to create an open atmosphere.

Premium Economy
The seats are separated by sliding partitions to improve privacy. According to JAL, it is also the first Premium Economy class in the world to introduce a power recline feature.

Economy class
Having won the title of “Best Economy Class Airline Seat” by SKYTRAX for six consecutive terms, JAL has further improved the legroom and upgraded the seats for increased comfort.
