This Wednesday, March 8, free entry for women to museums, monumental ensembles, archaeological parks, historic villas and gardens and other cultural sites throughout Italy. An initiative of Gennaro Sangiuliano, the Italian Minister of Culture, who wanted to combine culture and the feminine world.
The various places of art and culture that adhere to the initiative not only offer free entry for women, but also a special calendar of meetings and guided tours.
These meetings aim to raise public awareness of the role of women in the cultural imagination and in society, but also of the value of International Women’s Day.
