Thanks to the new agreement, which follows the ITA Airways intermodal program launched in recent months, passengers holding an ITA Airways ticket on a flight of Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate at the airport Frankfurt will be able to continue their trip to Germany or Switzerland with a single ticket and travel on board high speed trains of Deutsche Bahn to reach their destination.
The new combined train + plane ticket enriches the company’s network with 13 new destinations, including 12 in Germany with Cologne, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Dresden, Munich, Leipzig, Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover, Nuremberg, Munster and Bremen, plus one in Switzerland with Basel.
