Israel: Transavia France will once again serve Eilat this winter

Transavia France will serve again Eilat, Israelfrom Paris-Orlyfrom October 22, 2023 to March 24, 2024, confirmed theIsraeli National Tourist Office.

Every Sunday during this period, outbound flight TO3470 will depart from Paris-Orly airport at 10:15 a.m. and land at Eilat-Ramon airport at 4:20 p.m. (local time). The return flight will leave the Israeli seaside town at 3:20 p.m. and return to Paris at 7:45 p.m. Each flight will last approximately 4.5 hours. On this line, the French low cost Transavia will have no direct competition, the Irish low cost Ryanair serving Eilat from Paris-Beauvais (Beauvais-Tillé).

Note that Transavia France also serves the Jordanian city of Aqaba, opposite Eilat. The borders between Jordan and Israel being open to tourist traffic (10 minutes by bus between the two border towns), it is possible to land in Eilat and leave from Aqaba, or vice versa, to visit the two countries.
