Intelsat, one of the world’s largest integrated satellite and terrestrial network operators, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Aalyria, a pioneer in optical communications and software-defined networks based in California. This agreement includes a financial commitment towards the development of new optical technology capable of transmitting data between Earth and space at record levels.
