Intelsat, operator of one of the world’s largest integrated satellite and terrestrial networks and a leading provider of in-flight connectivity, today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Aalyria, a pioneer in software-defined and optical network communications based in California. This agreement includes financial commitments to advance the development of new optical technology capable of transferring record amounts of data between earth and space.
