A record 117,000 rooms which will be inaugurated this year. This record figure belongs to the Hyatt hotel group, which is implementing an extraordinary investment plan focused on the high end, since one in four establishments in the group is classified as a “lifestyle hotel”.
A key growth driver is the impending acquisition of the Dream Hotel Group brand and management platform, which is expected to bring lifestyle hotel brands such as Dfream Hotels, Unscripted Hotels and resorts under the banner Hyatt The Chatwal.
The agreement will strengthen Hyatt’s presence in strategic destinations in the United States, including Las Vegas and New York, but also in the Caribbean and in Doha.
Among Hyatt Group’s already consolidated brands, the fastest growing is Park Hyatt, which will be enriched with new structures in Europe with the Park Hyatt London River Thames, and in Africa, where it will be present in South Africa with the Park Hyatt Johannesburg at the end of 2023 and will enter Morocco with the Park Hyatt Marrakech.
The brand will also expand into the Asia-Pacific region with Park Hyatt Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Park Hyatt Phu Quoc, Vietnam in 2024.

New markets also for the brand Andaz who will land this year in Qatar and Thailand with Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach. In China, Andaz Macau will be located inside the Galaxy International Convention Center and will be the largest Andaz hotel in the world, with more than 700 rooms and suites.
