The 174-room Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port has unveiled a new look following a major renovation.

The hotel now features the Courtyard brand’s new Refreshing Business lobby concept, designed to give travelers the flexibility to work and socialize however they choose while on the road.


Located at 400 Gulf Stream Way, two miles from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and minutes from Port Everglades Cruise Port, the Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port offers guests access to Fort Lauderdale’s beach, Sun Life Stadium, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Broward County Convention Center.

The open, contemporary new Courtyard hotel lobby is designed in vivid contrasting colors, including blue, green, orange and red. Flexible seating options range from a communal table in the middle of the lobby to more private media booths with high-definition televisions, as well as a more intimate, semi-enclosed lounge area.

A distinctive element of the new lobby is the brand’s exclusive GoBoard technology, a 52-inch LCD touch screen which offers local information, maps and weather, as well as news, business and sports headlines. Guests can navigate using the touch screen to find restaurants, local attractions and directions.

Guests can connect to free Wi-Fi and there are ample electrical outlets throughout the lobby to power digital devices. The enlarged business library features several complimentary computer terminals, along with a free printer and separate computer stations dedicated to printing airline boarding passes and checking flight status.

Dining at the Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port has been completely redesigned. The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect., which offers casual, flexible seating; easier access to food and higher-quality, healthier-menu options for breakfast, as well as light evening fare, including snacks, wine and beer; and The Market, an always-open shop for snacks, beverages and sundries.
