Hotels Magazine survey: Marriott retains first place

Marriott International is the largest hotel chain in the world according to the annual ranking carried out by Hotels Magazine, once again occupying first place this year with 1.49 million rooms.

Second place goes to the Chinese company Jin Jiang International and its 1.26 million rooms, while Hilton completes the podium with 1.13 million rooms in its portfolio.

Again, in fourth place is IHG Hotels & Resort, with 911,000 rooms, followed by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, with 842,000 rooms and in sixth place, H World Group Limited, with 809,000 rooms.

With 802,000 rooms, Accor occupies seventh place, followed by Choice Hotel International with 627,000 rooms; ninth position for BTG Hotels Group and tenth place for BWH Hotels with 304,000 rooms.

However, if we analyze the number of hotels, Jin Jiang comes in first place with 12,359 establishments, followed by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (9,059) and H World Group Limited (8,543 structures).
