Organized in collaboration with the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the Hong Kong Cyclothon returns on October 22 after 5 years of absence.
Alongside 5,000 other cyclists from around the world, participants will take to the streets of Hong Kong and the roads in the heart of the surrounding nature to the encouragement of spectators.
The different races offered will allow you to discover Hong Kong from new perspectives and enjoy the panoramas of the skyline and the diversity of landscapes that the destination offers.
Nearly 100 professional cyclistsincluding more than 10 UCI WorldTour teams, such as the Jayco-AlUla team from Australia and the Selle Italia Ghezzi team from Italy, will travel to compete in the flagship 1.1 event of the Union Cycliste International.
Registrations for the 30 and 50 kilometer courses are open to all Hong Kongers and international participants following a free technical assessment. A unique opportunity to discover the territory in a different way, particularly thanks to the circuits using traffic lanes exclusively reserved for cyclists for the occasion.

Discovering Hong Kong by bike
For anyone who would be inspired by the Cyclothon, Hong Kong offers many opportunities for bike rides throughout its territory. An essential route is found in the New Territories: a 55-kilometer track which connects Tuen Mun to Sha Tin. Along the way, cyclists can discover some of the destination’s rich cultural history, with the trail providing easy access to ancient temples and historic monuments, all set against a backdrop of breathtaking scenery.
