Hilton Worldwide Holdings has partnered with vehicle maker Tesla to install 20,000 universal electric vehicle charging stations in 2,000 of its hotels in the United States, Canada and Mexico starting in 2024.
With at least six charging stations at each of the selected hotels, the move would make Hilton’s planned electric vehicle charging network the largest of any hotel company in the industry, the group said.
For the hotel company, their hotels are the ideal choice to provide travelers with widespread access to charging stations due to their wide geographic presence along highways and in major cities across North America.
