Harry Potter, the exhibition is an immersive exhibition at Paris Porte de Versailles. It celebrates the stories and iconic moments of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts sagas and more broadly of the Wizarding World with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, through a unique journey to discover the real costumes, sets and accessories.
The exhibit is created and produced by Imagine Exhibitions, Inc. in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and EMC Presents.
“From the page to the screen”: a showcase will present the first edition
of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in a safe inspired by
Gringotts, the wizarding bank, accompanied by videos and quotes
literature reminding visitors of their first memories of the saga.
Hogwarts Castle offers an immersive multimedia experience
with iconic elements like the Whomping Willow, the
Dementors or the Marauder’s Map, on which visitors
will see their name appear, inviting them to continue their exploration
of the exhibition.
The Hogwarts Houses Gallery brings visitors to life in the moment
special of the choice of their house, selected during their pre-registration.
This gallery will allow them to discover all the houses of Hogwarts
in a large hall housing the emblematic Sorting Hat, surrounded
of stained glass house crests designed especially for the exhibition.
The Great Hall, the school’s main common room, is revealed to
visitors throughout the seasons; the opportunity to experience magical moments
in this iconic architecture.
Hogwarts classrooms are filled with props,
iconic creatures and costumes. Via touch screens, lessons
and games are offered to visitors to prepare potions, predict
the future in the divination room, put a potted mandrake in
the herbology greenhouse and use their digital wand to defeat
a Boggart in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
Hagrid’s Hut and the Forbidden Forest offer an experience
interactive which will display the Patronus specific to the visitor. Each
will discover fantastic creatures, such as centaurs and
Acromantulas, hidden in the dark forest and will explore the interior of
the reconstruction of Hagrid’s hut.
The shop will offer Potterheads an exclusive Harry collection
Potter: The Exhibition. Clothing, jewelry, and treats, such as
famous Chocolate Frogs and Butterbeer, as well as souvenirs
specially designed for this immersive experience of the World of
Wizards.
