Six Israeli teenagers were arrested by police after disrupting a flight to Tel Aviv. The incident occurred on a flight TUS Airways operated by Airbus A320, departing from Larnaca.
One of the passengers reported that the disturbance began during the cabin crew’s preparations for takeoff, with one of the teenagers throwing a bobbin of soda on a woman on board, causing her injury. The rest of the group would have laughed at the situation. The captain decided to bring the plane back to the terminal and alert the police.
After a 50 minute delay, the flight finally took off. The teens were arrested and then released, with arrangements for them to catch a later flight back to Israel. TUS Airways has emphasized its policy of zero tolerance to such incidents and has prioritized passenger safety.
