Flair Airlines will open three new lines to Cancun, Orlando Sanford and Las Vegas departing from Winnipegsee you next winter.
Initially, the low-cost Canadian company will offer two flights per week for each destination, from November 30 to Cancun, from January 22 to Orlando-Sanford, and from February 17 to Las Vegas.
In June, Flair Airlines launched flights to Victoria, Kelowna and London, Ontario from Winnipeg, but this will be the first time it has offered flights to sunny destinations outside of Canada from Winnipeg, capital of the province of Manitoba and seventh Canadian city (750,000 inhabitants). “We see a lot of potential in Winnipeg. I think it’s a market that’s underserved“, declared Garth Lund, the commercial director of Flair Airlines, quoted by Radio-Canada.
Based in Edmonton, capital of the province of Alberta, Flair Airlines is Canada’s first low-cost airline with a clear focus on providing affordable air travel. It operates around 30 Boeing 737 MAX single-aisle aircraft and is aiming for a total of 50 aircraft in 2025 to serve more than 35 cities in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
