Integral S performs its maiden flight
Integral S, the “training” version of Aura Aero’s two-seater thermal propulsion dedicated to training, aerobatics and leisure, performed its first flight today, departing from Toulouse-Francazal airport. Registered F-WIAS, the plane took off at 10:20 a.m. for a flight whose crew consisted of pilots Eric Delesalle and HervĂ© Poulin. This test flight campaign will open up the aircraft’s flight envelope, in accordance with the program in question. It will now continue in the weeks and months to come, until EASA CS-23 certification is obtained, which should take place in the course of 2024, after that of Integral R which will have preceded it. .
Two-seater with tricycle train with load factor of +6 / -4G at 960 kg
Integral S is a two-seater aircraft with tricycle landing gear intended for pilot training. This aircraft meets the significant global training need estimated at nearly 300,000 pilots within ten years. Equipped with an ergonomic cockpit, Integral S offers a modern learning environment to facilitate the daily life of instructors and the learning curve of student pilots. With its IFR (Instrument Flight Rule) option and its modern and connected systems, the aircraft meets the latest training standards. Towards the first flight of Integral E, “the electric”
With this first flight, Aura Aero takes another step towards the electrification of the Integral range, the next being the first flight of Integral E, expected in the coming months.
