Fiji Airways announced the launch of a connection between the international airport Nadi from the Fiji Islands and the international airport Nouméa-La Tontouta in New Caledonia.
The inaugural Nadi-Nouméa flight will take place on November 30. A week later, from December 7, regular flights will be operated twice a week, every Monday and Thursday. “ We were able to negotiate with our counterparts in New Caledonia and set a start date for service between Nadi and Nouméa. We at Fiji Airways are very excited about the prospects of this new route said Fiji Airways Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Andre Viljoen.
According to Fiji Airways, its Nadi base in Fiji is the ideal hub for customers arriving from New Caledonia, offering a comprehensive network of connections to North America (San Francisco, Los Angeles or Honolulu), Asia as well as other Pacific island countries. “Moreover, recalled André Viljoenthanks to our code sharing partners, we can connect Caledonians to more than a hundred destinations around the world.”
