Continuing the managerial and strategic evolution of the company, Yolande and Gilbert Cisneros entrust the operational management of the tour operator to their two sons while remaining actively present at the head of the holding company as co-Presidents and by refocusing on: the outlook and developments of the company in the medium and long term.
Created in 1987 by Yolande and Gilbert Cisneros, the Exotismes group is owned by the family holding company.
The Group owns the Exotismes tour operator specializing in organizing trips to tropical destinations (Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Pacific).
Since its creation, Exotismes has experienced constant expansion associated with consistently profitable results (2022 turnover of €170 million and a net profit of €6.9 million).
Julien and Sylvain Cisneros, actively present in the family business,
jointly take over the Executive Presidency of the tour operator Exotismes. Julien Cisneros (43 years old), IT Director and present in the company for 16 years.
It is thanks to him that the company took the technological turn well before its competitors and invested in the Internet.
Access to stock in real time with reservations possible 2 years in advance is his and his team of around ten engineers and developers, artificial intelligence at the service of travel advisors is still him.
Sylvain Cisneros (41 years old), Director of Purchasing and New Markets and has been with the company for 14 years.
The opening of new destinations is him and in particular the very relevant one of the Dominican Republic which has become a flagship destination of Exoticisms, as well as the more recent opening of Cancun & the Riviera Maya or recently that of Zanzibar and the Tanzania.
Within the management committee, they will rely on two valuable Deputy General Directors, present for many years in the company:
– Didier Sylvestre : Deputy General Manager in charge of sales, well known in the distribution network.
– Cedric Clanet : Deputy General Manager in charge of operations, highly appreciated by service providers.
This new organization, thought out for a long time, is part of the founders’ desire to remain involved in the future of the company by maintaining their expertise in anticipating a rapidly changing tourism market.
