Eurowings Discover announces 2 routes between Munich and Tunisia

The airline company Eurowings Discover will launch next summer six new seasonal routes to Munichincluding those intended for Djerba And Monastir.

From May 1, 2024, the leisure subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group will offer two flights per week between its base in Munich-Frantz Josef Strauss and the airport of Djerba-Zarzis, operated by Airbus A320 with 180 seats. Departures are scheduled according to AeroRoutes Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. (arrival at 3:25 p.m.) and Saturday at 6:00 a.m. (arrival at 7:25 a.m.); return flights will leave the Tunisian resort on Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. (arrival at 8:00 p.m.) and Saturday at 8:15 a.m. (arrival at 12:00 p.m.).

Eurowings Discover will compete with Tunisair, Nouvelair and TUI Fly Deutschland on this route, which will be added to that from Frankfurt.

Then from May 3, 2024, the German company will also offer two weekly A320 rotations between the Bavarian capital and the airport of Monastir-Habib Bourguiba, with departures Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. (arrival at 8:10 a.m.) and Friday at 6:10 a.m. (arrival at 7:20 a.m.). Return flights will depart Tuesday at 9:05 a.m. (arrival at 12:30 p.m.) and Friday at 8:15 a.m. (arrival at 11:40 a.m.).

Eurowings Discover will face Tunisair and Nouvelair on this route, which is in addition to the one departing from Frankfurt (and the two from its sister low cost Eurowings from Cologne-Bonn and Düsseldorf).

The other novelties of the leisure company on departure from Bavaria are Kefalonia And Kalamata in Greece, Mahon in the Spanish island of Minorca And Varna in Bulgaria, all operated twice a week.
