The defense meeting council reaffirmed its support for Ukraine and addressed the worrying situation in the Sahel and Africa. Minister Margarita Robles’ condolences were expressed to France for the soldiers who died in Iraq. She underlined total solidarity with High Representative Josep Borrell. Meetings also took place with the Romanian counterpart and the Deputy Secretary General of United Nations Peacekeeping Operations.
