Etihad Airways will pass into daily flight on the connection ofAbu Dhabi to Genevafrom December 20, 2023.
Etihad Airways will add two frequencies, Tuesday and Wednesday, to increase from 5 to 7 weekly flights. Flights are operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, tri-class configuration (Business, Premium Economy and Economy). The Abu Dhabi airline has been serving Geneva since 2004 and thus confirms its return to pre-pandemic capacities.
Etihad has also launched a new route from its Abu Dhabi base to Osaka, Japan, from October 1, 2023. The connection will be possible from/to Geneva 5 times a week, with approximately a 3-hour stopover at Abu Dhabi.
In addition, Etihad will increase its frequencies on other services, which will connect Geneva with daily flights via Abu Dhabi to Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Male from December 20, as well as four times a week to Colombo from from January 2024. Other connections will be offered to India (Bombay, Delhi, Cochin, Trivandrum, Madras, etc.).
