Emirates presents its Premium Economy in India

Emirates celebrated the launch of its Premium Economy offer in India on October 19, with an exclusive tour of its aircraft A380 four class in Mumbai.

When the new cabin class debuts on its A380 flights later this month, Emirates says it will “will be the first Middle Eastern carrier operating in Mumbai to offer a discreet luxury experience”. The aircraft having Premium Economy cabins and operating as EK506 arrived at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (MIAL) to enable MIAL airport officials, VIPs, travel agents, corporate clients keys and the media to preview the offer which will soon be launched. Guests were treated to a guided tour of the Premium Economy cabins which will debut on Emirates’ A380 service around Mumbai And Bengaluru from October 29 and on outbound flights from these two cities to Dubai from October 30.

Emirates A380 Premium Economy cabins feature 56 seats “soft” in cream leather, located forward of the main deck and arranged in 2-4-2 configuration. The new cabin class offers seats with a recline “generous”more legroom and “elevated dining experience, among other thoughtful and luxurious touches”. Passengers looking for a premium dining experience can discover a diverse selection of regional menus, offering an array of local flavors and an extensive beverage selection for Premium Economy customers.

Emirates has undertaken “one of the largest fleet modernization initiatives ever carried out in the history of aviation”, she underlines in her press release. The Emirates engineering team has indeed embarked on a pioneering project aimed at reorganizing 67 Airbus A380 And 53 Boeing 777s. In addition to offering a refreshed look, the project will see the installation of nearly 4,000 Premium Economy seats on 120 planes.
