There destination Dubai has remained popular with travelers even in the summer months, with two million customers traveling to the airline’s hub to enjoy its year-round attractions and events. This winter, the Emirati airline predicts a further uptick in travel demand to Dubai, as the city offers a packed schedule of global conferences (COP28), sporting events and more. The city has already welcomed more than 8.5 million international visitors in the first six months of 2023, registering more than a million additional visitors during the same period last year.

Demand for travel across our network has been strong and resilient despite mounting cost of living pressures in many markets. This shows the value people place on travel – whether for work, leisure, study or to visit loved ones; and how critical international air connectivity is for communities“, said Adnan Kazim, Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates.

And to add:Emirates has worked closely with our industry partners to ensure we are prepared to meet customer demand and attract visitors by building on the appeal of our home and hub, Dubai. We are pleased to see strong customer preference for our product across all cabin classes, especially in our premium cabins“.
