Emirates expands codeshare with Philippine Airlines and Air Canada

Emirates and Philippine Airlines (PAL) expanded their interline agreementallowing passengers of the Dubai company to access the domestic services of the Philippine company via Cebu and Clarkadding to previously announced interline connections via Manila.

Covering the three destinations served by Emirates in the Philippines, Manila, Cebu and Clark, this partnership expansion will provide seamless connectivity for passengers to reach even more destinations in the Philippines using a single ticket and convenient baggage transfer.

Emirates passengers can now fly to Philippine Airlines domestic destinations including Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Davao, Iloilo, Caticlan and Puerto Princesa via Cebu, as well as Cebu, Caticlan and Busuanga via Clark.

Philippine Airlines passengers can also benefit from the improved interline agreement and book Emirates-operated flights to Amman, Birmingham, Cape Town, Dammam, Dublin, Lisbon, Manchester, Muscat and Riyadh via Dubai. PAL operates daily flights between Manila and Dubai, allowing its customers to then travel to cities in Europe, Africa and other parts of the Middle East, with Emirates. The partnership allows passengers to obtain their boarding passes and check their luggage until the final destination.

Also, Emirates announced that its codeshare partnership with Air Canada has been extended to include flights to and from Montrealfollowing the launch of its service from Dubai to Quebec’s largest city in July.

Emirates customers will now be able to plan travel between eleven destinations in Canada, beyond Montreal, and in the other direction of destinations on Emirates’ extensive network, beyond Dubai, using flights from both airlines conveniently on one ticket. Also, 69 additional points accessible from the gateway, on an interline basis.
