Emirates celebrates Oktoberfest on board and in lounges, Prost!

Emirates will toast the German beer festival, Oktoberfestby proposing a traditional Bavarian cuisine and german entertainment on board flights to and from Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Frankfurtas well as in select airport lounges, between September 16 and October 3, 2023.

Passengers will enjoy a Bavarian starter, main course and dessert in all cabin classes, bistro bites in the Airbus A380 lounge and a variety of classic German dishes in airport lounges, all washed down with Loewenbrau beer.

Also on board, passengers will be able to get a taste of the entertainment with up to 45 German films and classic spaghetti westerns loved in Germany such as Banana Joe, Die Miami Cops, Zwei außer and Rand und Band. Music lovers can get into the Oktoberfest mood with 28 German music playlists and albums. Before landing, passengers will receive a gift of individually wrapped gingerbread hearts decorated with Oktoberfest decor.

In the Munich and Düsseldorf airport lounges, a range of dishes will be offered to Business and Première customers, including Käsepätzle (the German version of mac and cheese, made with egg noodles, roasted onions and Emmental, light bites of Obazda and pretzel), a cheese delight, a gourmet potato salad with parsley and chicken thighs garnished with parsley.

Emirates currently operates three daily flights from Dubai to Frankfurt and two daily flights to Munich, Düsseldorf and Hamburg.
