EL AL presents a new on-board menu created by Michelin chef Assaf Granit

EL AL announces the launch of its new on-board menu by Assaf Granit, Israeli Chef who won a star in the Michelin Guide. The menu, kept secret for months, was launched on the Tel Aviv – Paris flight on Tuesday September 5, 2023 and will be gradually introduced in all cabin classes by the end of September.

The new menu served on board EL AL aircraft highlights the diversity of Levantine cuisine, with a variety of local ingredients from across the country. “ Israeli cuisine, which links different cultures, has long been my source of culinary inspiration. Economy Class passengers will be able to enjoy a new selection of sandwiches, and Premium and Business passengers will enjoy a variety of new dishes showcasing the fusion of classic Israeli cuisine with a modern twist.

Assaf Granit is the only Israeli chef to hold a star in the prestigious Michelin Guide for his restaurant Shabour, located in 2e district of Paris.
