Since October 31, the Orange company has launched five new lines departing from Paris CDG and four departing from Nice, Lyon and Nantes.
The low-cost airline Easyjet has just launched a set of nine new routes from Paris CDG and the French provinces. Since October 31, the Orange company has launched flights from Paris CDG to Birmingham (one daily flight), to Agadir (2 flights per week), and to Rabat (4 flights per week). Since November 1, the low-cost carrier has opened a route to London Southend (65 km east of London, near the Thames Estuary)(4 flights per week) and has launched since November 2 a connection from Paris CDG to Pisa (4 flights per week).
69 million passengers carried by Easyjet in 2022
From the French province, Easyjet opened a line from Nantes to Lanzarote (Canary Islands) on October 30, with two flights per week, and since November 1 it has also opened a new connection to Rabat (Morocco), operated twice a week. Still towards Rabat, Easyjet has also launched connections from Nice (two flights per week) and from Lyon (3 flights per week) since November 1st.
Easyjet is the second largest company in terms of traffic from France. It transported a total of 69 million passengers in 2022. It has a fleet of more than 300 aircraft and operates nearly 1,000 routes to more than 150 airports in 35 countries. More than 300 million Europeans live within an hour of an airport served by Easyjet.
