The low-cost company EasyJet is consolidating its network in the French provinces. On June 30, it opened a new link between Bordeaux-Mérignac airport and Toulon-Hyères airport, operated at the rate of two flights per week (Friday and Sunday).

This seasonal flight is offered from 35 euros one way and consolidates a very large network of EasyJet departing from Bordeaux-Mérignac, with a total of 33 destinations available from the Bordeaux city, including eight French regional destinations ( Toulon, and Ajaccio, Bastia, Figari, Lille, Lyon, Marseilles, Nice). Easyjet is the first European company in terms of network size and the second company in France. It carried more than 69 million passengers in 2022, including more than 9.5 million business travellers. It has a fleet of over 300 aircraft and operates nearly 1,000 routes to over 150 airports in 35 countries.
