At the Dubai Air Show, Royal Jordanian yesterday signed a firm order for four Boeing 787-9 Dreamlinerswhile Royal Air Morocco confirmed for two 787-9s.
Jordan’s national airline also reconfirmed a previous order for two 787-9s at the Dubai Airshow, bringing its total order book to six Dreamliner widebodies. “Our decision to add the 787-9 Dreamliners to our fleet demonstrates our commitment to providing an unparalleled travel experience“, said Samer Majali, Vice President and CEO of Royal Jordanian.
For its part, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has confirmed an order for two 787-9 Dreamliners. “The two Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners will allow Royal Air Maroc to expand its long-haul network in the short term in response to very favorable market conditions in 2023“, explained Abdelhamid Addou, CEO of the Moroccan airline.
This order, which was previously not identified on the Boeing orders and deliveries site, is also part of the modernization of RAM’s long-haul fleet which operates a combination of 787-8 and 787-9 during of the last nine years.
