Abeloan Irish turboprop leasing company, and theFranco-Italian aircraft manufacturer ATR signed a memorandum of understanding for a firm order for 10 ATR 72-600with options for 10 additional aircraft, at the Dubai Air Show.
This contract is in addition to a first order from Abelo placed in July 2022 for 10 ATR 72-600 and 10 ATR 42-600S (the short takeoff and landing version). While the Irish lessor, based in Dublin, will take delivery of its very first new ATR before the end of the year as part of the order placed in 2022, deliveries of these additional turboprops will take place between 2026 and 2028.
