Vienna Hotel in Two Palaces to Become Ritz-Carlton’s First Austria Property

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. is will open its first hotel in Austria in the second quarter of 2012, the hotel located in the country’s capital city Vienna.
An investor represented by Verny Capital owns what will become The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna. Earlier this year, the investor also completed the acquisition of The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow.
The 202-room hotel is located on Schubertring, the site of numerous monumental buildings built from 1860 to 1890. Home of the Vienna State Opera and the Museum of Fine Arts, Vienna is known for its role as a world center of European classical music.
