City-to-city express bus company Megabus.com will greatly expand daily service to and from Philadelphia on July 21, making the city its second hub in the Northeast U.S.

Philadelphia residents will be able to travel on Megabus.com to Atlantic City, New Jersey; Baltimore; Boston; Buffalo, New York; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Pittsburgh; State College, Pennsylvania; Syracuse, New York; and Toronto. The company is known for its from-$1 advance fares and these will be available on the new Philadelphia services.


Megabus.com is also adding five more daily trips to its existing Philadelphia-Washington, D.C. route, increasing departures to approximately every two hours. Travel can now be booked for July 21 and beyond at the company’s website,  www.megabus.com.

The bus line will offer 29 daily departures from its arrival-and-departure location on the south side of Philadelphia’s John F. Kennedy Boulevard, near North 30th Street and the west entrance to the 30th Street Station.
