Hosted by experienced radio broadcasters Dan Schlossberg and Christine Tibbetts, Travel Itch Radio ‒ which has a Facebook page of the same name ‒ is a weekly, half-hour Internet radio show which has explored a vast range of travel-related topics since it first aired on March 1, 2012.

In recent broadcasts, featured guests on Travel Itch Radio have entertained listeners with expert knowledge on an especially wide variety of subjects.

These have included hot dog culture (and where some of the United States’ best hot dogs may be found) to ideas for unusual vacation destinations, and from clothing-optional resorts to practical advice on how devotees can practice yoga wherever in the world they might be traveling.

For the June 27 episode of the show, hosts Tibbetts and Schlossberg have promised to quiz Kjelgaard on his experiences of the airline industry and of world travel during his 30-plus years as a reporter and editor for aviation- and tourism-related publications and websites.

Kjelgaard is also expected to provide practical tips on traveling by air, and give viewers an idea of his airline likes and dislikes.

The hosts of the show are also expecting the editor of Airlines and Destinations to offer his views on how technological development might change air travel over the next 20 to 30 years.

Kjelgaard founded www.AirlinesAndDestinations.com in March 2009 and together with business partner Madelyn Mills has developed the website into a well-known Internet source of news and information on air and destination travel.

Recently, media services company Cision ranked www.AirlinesAndDestinations.com among North America’s top 50 travel blogs. Cision developed its ranking (as well as a similar ranking of Europe’s top 50 travel blogs) using proprietary software and data which provides comparative analysis of the influence and reach of media outlets.

In addition to the main news website www.AirlinesAndDestinations.com, Airlines and Destinations also maintains a much-viewed Facebook page (which is called ‘Airlines and Destinations’) and the Twitter account AirDestinations.
