Dolce Hotels and Resorts has opened its new resort Ravella at Lake Las Vegas, which is designed as a lakeside, Italian-inspired oasis.
Ravella is a 349-room-and-suite resort situated on the shores of the largest privately owned man-made lake in the United States, according to Dolce Hotels and Resorts. Located 17 miles from the Las Vegas Strip on the site of the former Ritz-Carlton at Lake Las Vegas, Ravella offers a white-sand beach; kayaking, boating and fly fishing; a nearby Jack Nicklaus golf course; and hiking and jogging trails.
The resort features a 30,000-square-foot Mediterranean-inspired spa, salon and fitness center; 39,000 square feet of meeting and social event space; Las Vegas’ only over-water chapel; and multiple lounges and dining venues. The Lake Las Vegas community features scenic vistas, miles of green, two marinas, and a village designed to be reminiscent of Mediterranean waterside communities, with its walking streets of boutiques and restaurants.
Ravella features a totally redesigned lobby whose Firenze Lounge spans three distinct areas for guests to relax with something to eat, plug in their laptops, or socialize over coffee or cocktails. A café transforms throughout the day to meet the needs of guests. A second lobby area serves as a spot to catch up on work, offering connectivity hubs and free Wi-Fi, or to check out the day’s news on large plasma screens. The central gathering spot is a place to catch up with friends or sip a cocktail on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake.
Ravella guests have privileged access to The Village Lake Las Vegas and can bill restaurant meals to their hotel rooms.
Focused on affordable luxury, Ravella’s room rates start at $120 per night. Nevada residents also enjoy a 25 per cent locals discount when they show valid Nevada ID.

“We’re very pleased to open Ravella’s doors today and mark Dolce’s entrance into the Las Vegas market,” said Steven Rudnitsky, Dolce’s president and chief executive officer, on February 11. “Serving as both an ideal business destination and charming locale for leisure travelers, Ravella’s unique ambience, impeccable amenities and affordable price points will draw visitors seeking a new kind of Vegas experience, and locals who see it as a perfect escape.”
With a focus on superior events, Ravella’s environment aims to provide a backdrop for corporate retreats, large-scale meetings, weddings and other events. Its al fresco venues offer meeting planners various options for lakeside events. These include La Capella di Amore, Ravella’s over-water chapel located on its Ponte Vecchio Bridge; Florentine Garden; Tuscany Courtyard; and a private beach with a waterfall.

Not too shabby at all. I recognize a few of those scenes from Florence and they definitely bring back memories. I’ll have to stop in next time and see it for myself.
