With Mediterranean accents, the cuisine of chef Mohamed Cheikh is rich in flavors, spices and character. The dishes offered on board Corsair will highlight world cuisine, with rich Mediterranean flavors, such as marbled foie gras with hibiscus, cream of celery, and cherry vinegar condiment, or even candied blue lobster with olive oil and Espelette pepper, served with caviar. Passed by several starred restaurants, the chef participated in the Top Chef television competition, which he won in 2021. Since then, he has opened two ephemeral restaurants, and now plans to open his own establishment. In August 2022, Chef Mohamed Cheikh was part of the delegation accompanying the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron on his official trip to Algeria.
This collaboration with chef Mohamed Cheikh completes an on-board catering offer designed by several chefs, namely chef Samuel Tétard on flights from Réunion, as well as chef Jimmy Bibrac on flights departing from the West Indies. “Thanks to these collaborations, Corsair wishes to offer its customers an even better in-flight experience, by savoring daring dishes that give pride of place to the culinary specialties of the regions it serves.“, declares the French airline specialist in Overseas services.
