The new Cook Islands Tourism Corporation (CITC) corporate website is now live, providing a valuable resource for tourism professionals, tour operators and travel agencies.

The platform hosts a collection of publications, tools and multimedia content that will help promote the Cook Islands and answer questions professionals have about this antipodean destination.

The site is divided into sections that make it easier to find information. The first, Trade & Media, offers useful resources for training sales and reservations staff as well as PowerPoint presentations. It highlights the Cook Islands online training program for professionals who wish to deepen and certify their knowledge of the destination as well as all the useful information on eductour possibilities.

Likewise, the media section provides multimedia content, including a photo gallery and royalty-free videos as well as information on the latest news.

In the Market Reports section, professionals and journalists can find the destination’s development strategy as well as detailed data on its tourist numbers.

The last section of the platform is reserved for the Cook Islands Quality Assured program which certifies the quality of local tourism operators according to a set of standards and meets the “Cook Islands Sustainable Tourism Policy and Framework Objectives” and the criteria of the “Council Sustainable Tourism World”.

The list of certified operators can be consulted here.
