The coronation of His Majesty King Charles III will take place in less than a month, with a bank holiday weekend set to be packed with celebrations across the UK.
To mark the occasion, Marriott Bonvoy has unveiled the most unmissable experiences from its portfolio of London hotels to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.

Perfectly located on London’s South Bank, with stunning views of Big Ben and the London Eye, the London Marriott Hotel County Hall is an ideal landmark for Coronation Weekend.
As this event approaches, the hotel offers a visit to discover the history of the building. A Grade II listed building dating from 1922, opened by King George V and Queen Mary as the seat of local government. Led by a guide, the visit will be free and will start at the hotel and end at Buckingham Palace.

For those looking for traditional fare, The Library’s Big Ben tea time offers guests the chance to enjoy the view from the hotel while enjoying a quintessentially British afternoon tea. To continue the celebrations, Gillray’s Bar is launching a “King Charles cocktail” in honor of the king, inspired by his favorite drinks. All visitors with the name Charles will be offered a cocktail.
Rooms are available from €893, breakfast included. The Coronation Tour will take place from May 4 to May 9 (except May 6) and will be free for hotel guests and outside visitors. The Big Ben tea time is offered from €73 per person. The King Charles III Coronation cocktail is sold for €34, or offered to anyone bearing Charles’ name who visits Gillray’s Bar until May 30.
