Saber Corp Chairman Kurt Ekert will add the CEO title next month. He will succeed Chairman Sean Menke, who will remain executive chairman of Saber, the company announced.

Kurt Ekert had replaced Douglas Anderson as chairman in 2016. He joined Saber as chairman in early 2022 as part of Saber’s “long-term succession plans” as the company separated the roles of CEO and president. Since then, Kurt Ekert’s accomplishments have included reorganizing Saber’s Travel Solutions business and building a “refined leadership team,” the company said.
Sean Menke was the former CEO of Frontier Airlines
Sean Menke was CEO of Frontier Airlines. He has been the CEO of Saber since 2016, having joined Saber as President of Saber Travel Network. He said, “I look forward to transitioning into the role of Executive Chairman and welcoming Kurt as the new CEO. He has been a driving force at Saber over the past fourteen months and I am confident he will continue to successfully lead this organization in the future.”
