The AREA 506 festival takes place every New Brunswick Day long weekend on the Saint John waterfront, and this year is August 4-6. Tā Ch’ilā Provincial Park offers a wide choice of water activities on or in the clear water of Lake Boya, inviting the traveler to explore its many islands and bays.

Ta Ch’ila is located on the Liard Plain, an area carved out by glaciers 20,000 years ago. The region is characterized by long ridges and elongated hills. Lake Boya is also one of the few lakes in the north that is warm enough for swimming. The park offers two short hiking trails, a mountain bike trail and limitless bays and islands to discover by canoe or motorboat.
