Air France-KLM And Saber Corporationone of the world leaders in airline ticket distribution (GDS, Global Distribution System), yesterday announced a strategic multi-year distribution agreement via the new NDC technology (New Distribution Capability) as well as the renewal of theEDIFACT agreement (Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce and Transport) existing.

As part of this agreement, the collaboration between the partners has been extended to include, alongside EDIFACT content, Air France-KLM’s enriched NDC offers which will be marketed and sold via the GDS Sabre. Air France-KLM NDC offers will be made available gradually to Saber travel agencies starting next year.

It also allows Air France and KLM to market more attractive and personalized NDC offers to the global network of Saber agencies, thanks to continuous pricing and tailor-made bundles.

From the beginning, Saber has been committed to supporting NDC to help build a new, more efficient and personalized travel ecosystem, meeting the evolving needs of today’s travelers. We are excited to bring enhanced EDIFACT and NDC content to our customers as we transition to the new world of Offers and Orders. “, commented Roshan Mendis, Commercial Director of Saber Travel Solutions.
