Since this weekend, Brussels Airlines welcomes the long-haul business class passengers to Africa fromBrussels airport in a Sunrise Lounge completely renovated.

The Sunrise Lounge has been redesigned to become a more spacious and comfortable lounge. From the entrance, the new layout draws visitors to the bright main space which offers an impressive view of the tarmac. Several new features have been introduced to significantly improve the comfort of the new Sunrise Lounge:
-A large buffet offers a range of high quality food, including a greater variety of hot meals;
-New Grohe Blue water coolers and a Coca-Cola soft drink dispenser further reduce the use of plastic bottles and cans, while a beer pump from airline partner AB InBev gives passengers the opportunity to tap their own Belgian beer;
– Customers arriving from a connecting flight have the option of sleeping in one of five “rest areas” before continuing their journey;
-Thanks to the showers and toilets designed by Grohe, the Sunrise lounge now offers state-of-the-art facilities for cooling off in one of the shower suites;
-The reorganization of the floor space increases the number of seats by 25%.

Over the past few months, Brussels Airport has also optimized the infrastructure of the T zone, among other things by increasing the number of seats and by installing a wall play installation on the theme of the Smurfs for children. The revision of the duty-free product offer and the development of a new café area will expand shopping and dining options. Thanks to the installation of a pharmaceutical dispenser, long-haul passengers will also have quick access to a number of basic medical products.
