After the collaborations between Brussels Airlines and renowned Belgian brands such as Natan and Rainpharma, three creative entrepreneurs from Ghent joined forces to design the comfort pouches distributed in business class on the long-haul flights of the Belgian airline.
Handbag designer Griet Aesaert, skincare expert Barbara Geusens de Nomige and artist Elisia Poelman joined forces to design this travel kit. The collaboration between Brussels Airlines and the Ghent trio will last two years, with the introduction of a new color and design every six months. In total, four unique cases will be revealed.
The clutches are made by Griet Aesaert, from the Aesaert handbag brand. The interior lining contains a unique piece taken from “A tourist in a dream“, a painting by the artist Elisia Poelman. The matching sleep mask also bears a detail of the artwork. Finally, Barbara Geusens, skincare expert and founder of Nomige, adds her scientific knowledge to the collaboration by providing lip balm and lotions.
