British Airways adds Riga, Belgrade and Cologne to its winter schedule

For his winter program 2023/2024, British Airways announces new connections from London-Heathrow to Riga in Latvia, Belgrade in Serbia and Cologne in Germanyto offer a total of more than 120 short-haul destinations.

Departing from London-Heathrow
-Riga (RIX): British Airways will launch a connection with three flights per week (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) from London-Heathrow from October 29, 2023. The flights will be operated either in A320 or A321 depending on the period.
-Belgrade (BEG): British Airways will launch a connection with three flights per week (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday) from London-Heathrow from October 31, 2023. The flights will be operated either in A320 or A321 depending on the period.
-Cologne (CGN): British Airways will launch a connection with twelve flights per week from London Heathrow from October 30, 2023. The flights will be operated either in A320 or A321 depending on the period.

From London-City
BA Cityflyer, a subsidiary of British Airways based at London City Airport, will launch a weekly service to Milan Linate Airport (LIN) to complement existing flights from London Heathrow.
Weekly winter flights from London-Heathrow to Turin (TRN) will also be available on Sundays from 10 December 2023. These services will complement the current daily service from London-Gatwick with BA Euroflyer, the British Airways subsidiary based in London-Gatwick.

Winter extension
BA Cityflyer’s summer route from London-City to San Sebastián (EAS) will be extended during the winter season, offering direct flights on Thursdays and Sundays to the Basque Country.

Also, British Airways will continue its operations at London-Heathrow during the winter to serve Ljubljana (LJU) in Slovenia, with four flights per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). Finally, Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) will become a permanent year-round destination, served by four flights per week. The service was launched in June 2023 to complement that of Istanbul Airport (IST).
