Part 21J, industrial design
Aura Aero, the Toulouse aeronautical manufacturer, has just obtained Easa Part 21J approval (industrial design), which complements the Part 21G approval (production) obtained in November 2021, and thus officially becomes an aeronautical manufacturer in its own right, from the design to production of its aircraft. Obtaining this new approval delivered by EASA, the European Aviation Safety Agency, comes at the end of a 24-month audit carried out on the Toulouse-Francazal site, where the design office is located. of the aircraft manufacturer.
Integral Family
This approval aims to certify that AURA AERO aircraft comply with aeronautical regulations in terms of design, manufacturing and equipment in the European context. It also certifies that the manufacturer uses regulatory airworthiness documents. Two years after the launch of industrial series production of the Integral family – the two-seater intended for training, leisure and aerobatics – and after the first flight of Integral S last July, Aura Aero will very soon carry out the handover in flight of Integral R. Tests of the first copy of Integral E – the 100% electric version – have started. As for ERA, the 19-seater regional transport aircraft with hybrid-electric propulsion, it is expected to enter service in 2028.
