In 2012, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed March 20 the “World Day of Happiness and Well-Being”. In 2023, and for the sixth consecutive year, Finland was named the happiest country in the world.
Indeed, the notion of Finnish happiness stems from a strong connection with nature and a lifestyle characterized by simplicity: contrary to popular belief, in fact, it is not a mystical state but a skill that can be learned and shared. With forests, lakes and archipelagos, Finland is the ideal place to live immersive experiences, relax and get in touch with nature to find your “inner Finnish”.
On this point, Visit Finland has set up the first Happiness Masterclass to be held from June 12 to 15 to reveal the secrets of happiness to ten people from all over the world. This experience, planned in the region of the lakes, will bring together the happy participants and expert coaches from the Kuru Resort whose mission will be to guide them in the discovery of a balanced way of life to be as happy as the Finns. The coaching sessions will revolve around four thematic axes: nature and art of living, health and balance, design and everyday life, nutrition and well-being.

How to register?
The four-day masterclass will be completely free for the 10 selected participants and Visit Finland will cover travel costs to and from Finland. Applications are open until April 2, 2023 and those interested can register individually or with a friend or partner.
