Assurever, the French leader in travel insurance brokerage, has entered into exclusive negotiations with a view to its sale to the German broker GGW
Assurever has decided to join the German brokerage group GGW. Assurever is the French leader in travel insurance brokerage with more than 15 million turnover in 2022; in strong growth in 2022 and 2023,
Assurever is now the 18th French specialist broker according to Argus de l’Assurance.
According to Matthieu Drouet and Jean Philippe Lardennois, majority shareholders and managers of Assurever: “We are very happy to join the German group GGW. The entrepreneurial spirit of this young group appealed to us and we know that its dynamism will help us accelerate our growth in Europe to best support our customers.”

Matthieu Drouet and Jean Philippe Lardennois will remain the directors of Assurever which will retain its operational autonomy and its brand, in accordance with GGW’s partnership approach with the brokers who decide to join the group.
Assurever is advised on this transaction by the investment bank Nemrod Partenaires, while GGW is advised by KPMG Corporate Finance. This operation remains subject to legal consultations before its finalization.
