The tour operator had organized a special day for its employees. Asia took the opportunity to invite a few friends including air carriers and tourist offices. Of course Mistertravel.news was there.
Guillaume Linton: a brief speech but full of information
He thanked his team because the 2022-23 financial year ended with €56 million in gross turnover, or +€6 million compared to budget forecasts. This is encouraging and allows the tour operator to recruit new employees.
The start of the 2023-24 financial year is very encouraging since in mid-September Asia is already above its best pre-covid performances (years 2018 and 2019). Guillaume Linton is aiming for a turnover almost 30% higher than this year for 2024. Not bad! No?

The average basket remains high
Average baskets to Asia-Pacific remain high (+26% overall vs. 2019) but do not seem to deter travelers, in particular those who wish to (re)go to Japan, South Korea, Australia, Polynesia or in New Zealand: demand is very strong on these routes and we also note an extension of 2 to 3 nights in average length of stay (which makes the high cost of air travel profitable)

The Temptations brochure is in the agency
The new Tentations Collection, in agency for 15 days, presenting all the small group circuits for 2024, is already off to a very strong start with very high booking levels for the month of September and real anticipation from travelers already positioning themselves on the departures of the spring and summer 2024 (Japan and Indochina in the lead)
India and Sri Lanka finally seem to be returning to the order book this winter, China is making a comeback!
Polynesia, Namibia and new combinations for long trips (nearly 3 weeks) in Indochina, the Far East and Central Asia appear in this collection of small group tours
Asia Voyages relies on travel agencies and its direct sales
For this September start, Asia Voyages is strengthening its teams in B2B sales, direct sales, production and within support services
The tour operator is opening a 7th Asia agency in Neuilly within its headquarters which will be managed by Alexandre Descorps

Asia Voyages invited its partners
Among the professionals, we were able to see Franck Berlin from Saudia, Julie Cargueray from Sealink, Asiri Wickramasuriya from Sri Lankan Airlines, Marcella de Oliveira from Bangkok Airways and of course Prakit Saiporn who the entire profession knows.
