A man, described as schizophrenic, on Wednesday slit the throat of one of his co-workers in the cargo area at Paris-Orly. The latter died.
The two men worked for Econocom, a European group specializing in services related to digital transformation. One of them, after having suffered at least one stab in the throat, was discovered lying on the ground by a policewoman, who operated first aid, before he was taken care of until at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital. But the young man will die.
the aggressor, “heavy cannabis user” specifies a source close to the file, also suffers from schizophrenia. He was therefore placed in compulsory hospitalization. The investigation, entrusted to the departmental service of the judicial police of Val-de-Marne, will have to establish in particular whether he can answer for his actions before an assize court or if he is considered criminally irresponsible.
